About Mr Peter G. Warde

Starting out as an Application Developer Consultant designing and programming customized Information Systems in 1986, Peter quickly expanded the scene and moved on to other areas. Training Consultant, 1st and 2nd line Support were the first two areas, followed by Pre-sales Consultant and in 1988, Peter earned the position of Technical Product Manager for Desktop & LAN Products being predecessor to what we know today as Business Intelligence. Peter was also a pioneer in his company of implementing a Local Area Network. At this point in time tje LAN was based on Novell NetWare 386 and Token-Ring topology. As technology evolved the NetWare was replaced by OS/2 LAN Manager and Ethernet.

Due nature of the software solutions running on platforms ranging from the PC via midrange computers like Tandem, Bull to IBM mainframes under MVS/TSO and VM/CMS and the state-of-the-art technology of the time called Client/Server, Peter founded a wide and deep experience and knowledge of multiple operating systems, database management systems.

The product management consisted of techincal product expertise, 3rd Line and expert support, Sales Support and affectuating translation of software and documentation into the Swedish language.

In 1998 Mr Warde was head-hunted to a position as Product Manager for OLAP-based solutions for Business Analysis by a major player, today fusioned with and incorporated with Oralce. In this role he built the in-house knowledge of OLAP, hired and managed a group of consultants working in this area.

Between the years 2002 and 2006 the wardeplanet communications organization was founded and explored. During this time Peter operated as an inpedendent contractor taking on projects from small law-firms as well as from global, multi-national corporations, either solo or in cooperation with other specialists.

In early 2006 Peter revisited the Business Intelligence arena by accepting a combined role as Senior Technical Product Specialist and Sales Engineer.

With the closure of 2007 came a new offer from the major provider of Statistical Software, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics. Peter worked as Senior Sales Engineer providing technical and product support for large deals to the Sales staff.

In 2009 Peter managed, developed and ran the Customer and Technical Support organization for the leading e-Commerce software provider in Sweden - Intelligent Solutions (aka BlueLabs Scandinavia).
